I will take the time and look under every rock to get [my clients] the most compensation available.

Senior Associate Attorney Matthew Hamblin joined Robinson & Henry’s Personal Injury and Insurance Claim Denial practices driven by an unwavering commitment to advocating for individuals in most need of legal support. Matt’s path has been purposefully shaped by experiences that gave him a frontline view of impactful legislation and opportunities to provide legal assistance for low-income and underserved clients

Matt’s practice builds upon his previous roles, including an internship in Washington, D.C., where he witnessed firsthand the drafting of influential laws. During law school, he participated in the Civil Litigation Clinic in Nevada, which afforded him the chance to assist disadvantaged clients in resolving intricate civil disputes. Notably, Matt dedicated his efforts to drafting wills and trusts for Native American communities.

“I always wanted to help people who didn’t have access to the law,” Matt said. He has also done similar work for Southern Ute and Mountain Ute tribes in Colorado and New Mexico.

Fueled by a desire to amplify the voices of the disenfranchised, Matt emerges as a tireless and effective advocate in personal injury and bad faith insurance matters. His approach blends empathetic listening with an astute ability to analyze risks and benefits, providing clients with candid counsel. Accessibility remains paramount, as Matt ensures his availability to address clients’ needs.

“I will fight for my clients,” Matt said. “I will take the time and look under every rock to get them the most compensation available.”

Matthew and his wife have two children. They live in Golden with their two dogs. Matt enjoys camping, skiing, hiking, and exploring whatever else the mountains provide.

Client Testimonials

“A trusted friend referred me to Robinson & Henry after I sustained an injury due to negligence. The firm responded to my initial inquiry and set up a consultation with Jon Topolewski, the partner with litigation and personal injury. He reviewed and agreed to take my case. In doing so, he thoroughly explained the process, fee structures, and what could be expected with this type of case. Matthew Hamblin was the senior associate that handled my case. He was very professional, communicative, and helpful every step of the way. He conferred with me to get my perspective and permission to complete each step as the case unfolded, readily and completely answered all of my questions, and mindfully advised me when I needed more insight. The paralegal who supported the case was also professional and very helpful. Both Mr. Hamblin and Mr. Topolewski were genuine, kind and compassionate, listened well, and guided me through the process in a trustworthy manner. When the news came at the end of my treatment, both were happy to hear that my injury had completely healed. Fortunately, the case was settled within seven months. I am very grateful for the referral to Robinson & Henry and for all of the work on my behalf by the entire team! The firm has many areas of law in which they practice and if all are as professional as the team with whom I worked, then you’ll be in good hands. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking legal services and support!” – Lara
