I will take the time and look under every rock to get [my clients] the most compensation available.

Robinson and Henry Associate Attorney Matthew Hamblin always wanted to use the law to help those who need it most. He will continue to pursue that mission as a member of our Personal Injury/Bad Faith Insurance team.

Matt’s current focus is informed by previous experience. He has interned in Washington D.C., where he had a front-row seat to the drafting of impactful legislation. During law school, he did work for the Civil Litigation Clinic (CLC) in Nevada. The CLC enlists law school students to assist low-income, underserved clients in resolving civil disputes. Specifically, Matt helped draft wills and trusts for Native Americans.

“I always wanted to help people who didn’t have access to the law,” Matt says. He has also done similar work for Southern Ute and Mountain Ute tribes in Colorado and New Mexico.

Matt’s desire to speak for those who don’t have a voice propels him. It makes him a tireless and effective advocate in personal injury and bad faith insurance matters.

Matt has a way of honing in and empathizing with his clients’ concerns. He is a dedicated listener who will weigh risks and benefits, and give honest advice. He also makes it a point to be available when his clients need him.

“I will fight for my clients,” Matt says. “I will take the time and look under every rock to get them the most compensation available.”

Matthew has a 3-year-old son and, at this writing, another son on the way. He and his wife live in Golden with their two dogs. Matt enjoys camping, skiing, hiking, and exploring whatever else the mountains provide.

Client Testimonials

“A trusted friend referred me to Robinson & Henry after I sustained an injury due to negligence. The firm responded to my initial inquiry and set up a consultation with Jon Topolewski, the partner with litigation and personal injury. He reviewed and agreed to take my case. In doing so, he thoroughly explained the process, fee structures, and what could be expected with this type of case. Matthew Hamblin was the senior associate that handled my case. He was very professional, communicative, and helpful every step of the way. He conferred with me to get my perspective and permission to complete each step as the case unfolded, readily and completely answered all of my questions, and mindfully advised me when I needed more insight. The paralegal who supported the case was also professional and very helpful. Both Mr. Hamblin and Mr. Topolewski were genuine, kind and compassionate, listened well, and guided me through the process in a trustworthy manner. When the news came at the end of my treatment, both were happy to hear that my injury had completely healed. Fortunately, the case was settled within seven months. I am very grateful for the referral to Robinson & Henry and for all of the work on my behalf by the entire team! The firm has many areas of law in which they practice and if all are as professional as the team with whom I worked, then you’ll be in good hands. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking legal services and support!” – Lara
