“I am a strong believer in listening and learning from others” - Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Robinson and Henry associate Sidney Billings is a dedicated attorney specializing in landlord/tenant law and HOA matters.

Sidney said she wanted to be a lawyer since she was in third grade. Over time, she has narrowed her focus to the multifaceted world of real estate law. First, however, she honed her sense of justice and courtroom skills as a public defender in El Paso County.

“I gained a lot of experience going to trial, negotiating with opposing counsel, and achieving the best outcomes for my clients,” Sidney says. “I have been able to apply all of those skills to my practice in Landlord/Tenant and HOA law.”

These skills have seamlessly transitioned into Sidney’s current practice, and now enhance her effectiveness in HOA and landlord/tenant matters.

Sidney prides herself in excelling where some lawyers fall woefully short: accessibility and communication. She aims to demystify tangled legal processes so her clients are always on the same page.

“Obviously, when someone enters into a lease they don’t plan to end up hiring an attorney,” Sidney says. “But when it becomes necessary, I hope to be my client’s saving grace.”

Outside the courtroom, Sidney’s world revolves around her husband and their daughter, Margo, who says is the light of her life. She enjoys reading and baking when she’s at home.
