Attorney Kirk Whitehead is a member of Robinson & Henry’s Probate Litigation Team. Kirk is dedicated to helping families and individuals resolve complex disputes regarding their loved one’s estate.
The son of two attorneys, Kirk developed an appreciation for and an interest in the law early in life. After he earned his undergraduate degree in government from Cornell University, Kirk attended the Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver. While pursuing his legal studies, Kirk served on the Executive Board of the Denver University Law Review (now named Denver Law Review), the college’s renowned journal published since 1923.
After passing the Colorado Bar, Kirk chose to focus his practice on litigation. In addition to probate litigation, Kirk has handled workers’ compensation litigation cases. Notably, he has argued a case before the Colorado Court of Appeals.
“I am fascinated by litigation and the manner in which an excellent attorney can use a thorough knowledge of law and procedure to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients,” Kirk said.
Kirk takes time to fully understand the facts of his client’s case and what they hope to accomplish so he can determine the best legal path to reach their desired results.
In his free time, Kirk enjoys the activities the Rockies have to offer, such as skiing, hiking, climbing, and mountain biking.
