Kit has successfully litigated cases in Colorado’s local, district, and appeals courts, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

Representative matters

• Retrieved rent abatement - Recovered substantial rent abatement funds and additional expenses for a tenant whose apartment became uninhabitable

• Eliminated liens - Successfully removed multiple mechanics' liens from the client's property, shifting liability back to the general contractor who misallocated payments intended for subcontractors.

• Negotiated large settlement - Secured a judgment against a fraudulent auto mechanic, securing five times the initial repair quote for the client, including treble damages and attorney fees

• Lawsuit defense - Defended an HOA against a frivolous lawsuit and obtained a court ruling that deemed the complaint groundless and vexatious

• Secured multiple six-figure judgments – Successfully obtained significant financial recoveries against contractors for construction defect claims under CDARA and violations of Colorado’s Contractor Trust Fund Statutes.

• Recovered multi-million dollar real estate assets – Secured the return of stolen property and fraudulent transactions.
