I am here for you, as a guide and advocate, through a difficult and complicated process.
Robinson & Henry Associate Joseph Tolman is a member of the firm’s Probate Team. He aims to lessen his clients’ burdens during the probate process.
For Joseph, this goal is personal, which is why he approaches every client with compassion and takes great care in handling their case. Several years ago, he watched as his mother had to turn her attention to the probate process as she grieved the loss of Joseph’s father. Serving as a guide and advocate during the probate process, Joseph hopes to reduce this kind of stress for his clients so they can focus on what matters most.
Prior to joining R&H, Joseph was a Deputy District Attorney for the 10th Judicial District Attorney’s Office in Pueblo. There he prosecuted serious felonies and pursued his drive for justice. Today, he harnesses that same energy for his probate practice.
Joseph is a dedicated and hard-working attorney who takes the time to listen to his clients’ needs and goals and offer them an honest assessment of their case.
“I ask the client to provide me with details of where they are and where they would like to end up, and I make it my job to navigate the murky legal waters to get them there.”
Joseph’s interest in the law began during his undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado – Denver. A constitutional law class propelled him to pursue law school after he saw how he could effect change in his community and someone’s life.
When Joseph isn’t working, he is focused on his wife and two daughters. He enjoys spending time with them at the park and exploring the world with his girls. Joseph is a U.S. Army veteran who is proud of his family’s military service. Every male in his family from his grandfathers to his younger brother has or is currently serving in the armed forces.
