I am here for you, as a guide and advocate, through a difficult and complicated process.
Robinson & Henry Associate Joseph Tolman is a member of the firm’s HOA & Evictions Team.
A former prosecutor for the 10th Judicial District Attorney’s Office in Pueblo, Joseph conducted nearly 40 jury trials and hundreds of contested hearings. This work often demanded that Joseph guide inexperienced witnesses to provide clear testimony to the judge and jury.
Joseph’s background as a prosecutor is particularly valuable for his eviction clients, as hearings are often set within weeks of their retaining him. With years of experience preparing hundreds of witnesses, he knows how to quickly and efficiently put together a strong case.
It is not lost on Joseph that he is working on cases affecting someone’s home and livelihood, which is why he employs all of his skills and knowledge to resolve them as quickly as possible while giving each matter the attention it deserves. Clients can expect Joseph to take the time to listen to their needs and goals and provide them with an honest assessment of their cases.
“I ask the client to provide me with details of where they are and where they would like to end up, and I make it my job to navigate the murky legal waters to get them there.”
Joseph’s interest in the law began during his undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado – Denver. A constitutional law class propelled him to pursue law school after he saw how he could effect change in his community and someone’s life.
When Joseph isn’t working, he is focused on his wife and two daughters. He enjoys spending time with them at the park and exploring the world with his girls. Joseph is a U.S. Army veteran who is proud of his family’s military service. Every male in his family from his grandfathers to his younger brother has or is currently serving in the armed forces.
