I have been a litigator my entire legal career working in the public and private sectors. I have litigated hundreds of cases in administrative, municipal, county, state and federal courts throughout Colorado. I strive to guide my clients through difficult and often emotional situations by listening, providing a candid, thorough analysis and advocating on their behalf to achieve the best possible results.
Robinson & Henry Partner Geanne Moroye is the exact type of stellar litigator the firm seeks. Her knowledge and understanding of the law is perhaps rare, even among lawyers of her same tenure.
Prior to joining Robinson and Henry, Geanne worked as an Assistant Regulation Counsel with the Colorado Supreme Court’s Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel (OARC). Geanne represented the People of Colorado, handling all aspects of investigations into lawyers’ compliance with the Colorado Rules of Professional Conduct.
She also prosecuted lawyers and magistrates in disciplinary matters. Serving as a prosecutor for OARC is one of the most demanding jobs a lawyer can have, requiring rigorous analysis, attention to detail, and comprehensive knowledge of diverse areas of law.
Geanne has a wealth of experience with dealing with clients, witnesses, attorneys, and members of the legal community. Geanne served for many years as a prosecutor in the Denver District Attorney’s Office where she litigated hundreds of cases including several high-profile murder cases.
Her trial skills were further honed after the leaving the District Attorney’s Office, when she went into private practice. Geanne has represented a wide variety of clients: from individuals in complex civil suits (including personal injury claims) to large companies in business and insurance litigation. Her comfort and poise in a courtroom make her a star on any legal team, and Robinson & Henry is proud to have her expertise in ours.
A native of Colorado, Geanne was born and grew up in Denver. She received her undergraduate degree at Colorado College, and Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado in Boulder. She works with Robinson & Henry’s Real Estate and Litigation team.
When she’s not practicing law, Geanne enjoys traveling with her family and watercolor painting.
