Navigating the legal system can appear daunting and complex. I work to make that process both manageable and aligned with what each client is seeking.”

Eric is as passionate about his home state of Colorado as he is about practicing law. He was born and raised in Colorado Springs and attended both undergraduate and graduate school in Colorado, earning a bachelor’s degree in political science from Colorado State University and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Eric’s post-college focus on short fiction and creative writing led him to the area of law with aspirations of further strengthening his writing skills.
Eric began his career in law as a Public Defender with the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender, where he honed his skills as a trial lawyer and received favorable verdicts in all but one of his trial cases. After working as a public defender, he transitioned into private practice, where his specialties included family, criminal, and contract law. Eric has represented clients in a variety of litigation matters, ranging from DUI, domestic violence and theft to child custody and separation.
At Robinson & Henry, Eric focuses on Domestic Relations, including Allocation of Parental Responsibilities, Dissolution of Marriage, Findings of Paternity, Step Parent Adoptions, and Enforcement of Post Decree issues. He enjoys helping clients navigate the complexities of the legal system, applying his legal expertise and guidance to facilitate a favorable outcome on their behalf.
Eric is an active member of the community, participating in pro bono ask-a-lawyer events. In his spare time, he enjoys watching independent films, playing board games, interior decorating, cooking, and running along Colorado’s majestic front range.
