Stephen Herlihy is an associate real estate and civil litigation attorney at Robinson & Henry. He combines natural compassion and legal acumen to help people through challenging circumstances.
The intricacies of the legal field are not new to Stephen. His father made a reputation in Boston as a fierce trial lawyer. In college, Stephen gained a deeper fascination with logic and well-reasoned arguments. Though he initially pursued a career in outdoor education, a future in law always beckoned.
Stephen has always wanted to help people through complicated cases. Now that he’s a lawyer with a strong firm behind him, he aims to do that. Stephen’s experience as an outdoor educator, including risk analysis and problem-solving, continues to benefit him in the legal field.
Stephen has second-chaired several trials and arbitrations in Colorado and Wyoming. His empathy for clients gives Stephen a firm understanding of the goals they seek, and the challenges they face.
“I take the time to listen to and empathize with my clients,” Stephen says. “We discuss possible case outcomes and then develop a plan. I work diligently to achieve a great outcome.”
Stephen lives in Golden with his wife and their young daughter. In his free time, Stephen likes to go camping, rock climbing, skiing, and generally exploring the mountains. He also enjoys cooking.
