I am privileged to have a career that allows me to help families in my community. I want all of my clients to feel like they were heard, understood, and treated with compassion.
Alyssa Little is a member of Robinson & Henry’s Family Law Team. Following an internship with a law firm in Dublin, Ireland, Alyssa knew she was destined to become a lawyer. She saw first-hand how careers in the legal field allow lawyers to create a real difference in their clients’ lives.
Of all the areas of law, Alyssa chose family law because she understands her clients are going through one of the most difficult times of their lives.
“They deserve a compassionate attorney to help them navigate the process,” Alyssa says.
Alyssa believes that by practicing family law, she is helping families in her community to overcome these challenging events.
Prior to practicing family law, Alyssa worked as a law clerk with the Clackamas County District Attorney’s Office in Oregon where she gained valuable courtroom and trial experience.
Since becoming licensed in 2014, Alyssa has practiced exclusively in the area of family law. She believes that her clients deserve great communication and creative solutions to their family law matters.
Alyssa understands no two cases are alike and approaches each case individually. She believes the most valuable part of a case lies in setting expectations of what the client can anticipate throughout the process to avoid unnecessary stress in what is already a stressful time.
Whenever possible, Alyssa seeks amicable resolutions to her clients’ matters, and she prides herself on her ability to come up with creative avenues of settlement. However, when settlement is not possible, Alyssa is prepared to advocate for her clients’ needs in court.
Alyssa enjoys traveling, both domestic and abroad, and she hopes to see as much of the world as she can. At home, Alyssa enjoys cooking, kayaking, and spending time with her loved ones and two small dogs.
