Your Legal Questions Answered

question iconOn behalf of my girlfriend I’m asking. Back in Aug 2020 she was arrested over a domestic dispute where the police didn’t need to be called. After a lot of back and forth between the DA and her and I the case was dismissed as long as she took an online domestic abuse class, which she completed. The thing that is the most difficult about the entire situation is the arrest stays on her record and is making it impossible for her to become a registered nurse. My question for you is, is it possible at all to get the arrest completely nullified and if not is it worth it to have it sealed as she applies to become a nurse? (Would she have to answer yes when asked about an arrest and is there anyway it could still be seen?) This is ruining her life. Thankyou so much for your time

We help people every week seal criminal records. Whether or not this specific record can be sealed requires a review by one our our attorneys. We can do that for you for free but not on this forum. You can schedule a case assessment 24/7 by calling 303-688-0944 or online at https://calendly.com/case-assessment/case-assessment. At your appointment, we’ll meet by phone or video (Zoom), we’ll discuss the charges, facts, defenses, concerns, desired results, rights, remedies, the law, the process, timeline, how we can help, costs, etc.
