What is Med Pay?

This is something that I’ve talked about a few times already. It’s called medical payments coverage, or med pay. It allows you to recover some compensation now while we’re waiting for the settlement that may happen sooner or later with the at-fault party’s insurance company.

Should You Use Your Med Pay?

Your doctors, who are treating you now, can bill your insurance policy under your med pay coverage to start taking away some of those expenses that you are incurring.

So if you have med pay coverage on your policy, use it.
