As an advocate, I am there to find and obtain a solution. I do that by handling each case the way I would want my case to be handled.
No legal matter is exactly the same, but as a civil litigation attorney, Robinson & Henry Partner Jon Topolewski gets to explore a wide variety of practice areas to help clients solve their legal issues. From contract disputes to business disagreements to real estate issues, Jon helps clients resolve a seemingly endless list of civil issues.
Jon has successfully represented thousands of clients at various stages in the legal process, including in mediations, binding arbitrations, administrative proceedings, bench trials, and jury trials. Utilizing a creative, innovative, and compassionate approach to the law, he has been able to obtain millions of dollars in relief for clients.
Jon believes attorneys have two roles to fill: counselor and advocate. As a counselor, he supports his clients throughout the litigation process. That support may come in the form of offering advice, lending an ear, and providing reassurance to his clients. Jon’s duty as an advocate is to find and obtain a solution for his clients. He accomplishes that by handling each case the way he would want his own legal matter to be handled.
Communication is key when it comes to building trust with a client, and Jon has set high standards for himself. He strives to reply to clients in a timely manner so they’re always apprised of their case’s status.
Jon obtained a Bachelor of Science in economics from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois where he was a Strobel Honors Scholar in Accounting and a member of the Omicron Delta Epsilon Honors Society in Economics. He was compelled to make a positive impact in other people’s lives, and he felt a career in law would allow him to do that.
Jon received his Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, cum laude, with a certificate in Advocacy. While at Loyola, Jon received various accolades including dean’s list recognition and multiple appointments and accreditations in the school’s highly competitive and well-regarded moot court program.
As a transplant to Colorado, Jon takes advantage of the year-round activities the state has to offer, such as hiking, snowboarding, biking, and golf.
Jon and his wife, Kaitlyn, have a young son.
