question iconOur trash collection service is contracted with our HOA (Sunrise Creek) to pick up trash bags in addition to the trash can provided. For the last 4 weeks the trash bags have been left on the curb. I have contacted the HOA about the issue and I have been told that the issue will be resolved and they will schedule a truck to pick up the trash. It still has not happened and I believe that it is creating a health and safety issue. What recourse do I have?

Your HOA (which has the contract with the Trash Company) has the authority to demand the service or potentially terminate the service contract. You should be communicating with the HOA Board members to demand that they take action to resolve this issue.
