Probate matters can often be more complicated than they first appear.
If your question is can heirs renounce their rights to the property and allow a single heir to have the property? The answer is yes.
But, this can be complicated by needing to open a probate to assign a Personal Representative who would have the legal authority to complete this transfer of estate property.

As such, I urge you to contact our Probate attorney and discuss the details of this issue in a free case assessment. During your conversation he will be able to help you understand your rights, remedies, and risks associated with your desired course of action.
