Probate matters can often be more complicated than they first appear. If your question is can heirs renounce their rights to the property and allow a single heir to have the property? The answer is yes. But, this can be complicated by needing to open a probate to assign a Personal Representative who would have the legal authority to complete this transfer of estate property.
