question iconI have a younger tenant couple who have some discrepancies in our lease, they have lived at the property since May 2020. We did meet with them on Friday to give them a non-renewal notice with a 91 day notice. They were upset about us not wanting to lease another term with them. They have smoked in the home, not picked up after their dog, and pays rent on the 5th instead of the 1st. The meeting was not handled professionally like it should have been, but getting lied too and argued with every time we try to have a conversation doesn’t go anywhere. We also have another tenant who has been sharing the washer/dryer in the common area that they are upset about because it was not in the lease. The washer/dryer are our property that are apart of the lease. I would like to get some advise as to what we can do and if someone could go over the lease.
