Land Covenant

When we bought our land a covenant states “no single wide manufactured (mobile) homes as a temporary or permanent residence”.

We are wanting to know if that would include a single wide modular home on a permanent foundation?

We are being told no single wides but the covenant is specific in the wording of “manufactured (mobile)” which isn’t entirely the same.
Thank you

Generally modular homes are not the same as mobile homes but some folks see them as very similar. I recommend moving through your HOA's approval process, if you get denied you should contact an attorney to help you in reviewing the HOA covenants and bylaws as well as the specific reason for denial. Then the process may be reopened, negotiated, or you may have a lawsuit against the HOA for the denial.

Good Luck!
