My mother is dealing with a terminal condition and is seeking to transfer her home to one of her children, but doesn't know if it would be more effective cost wise to do so before her passing, or to place it in a will. Would it be better for her to transfer it while she is still living, or place it in a will instead?See answer

My father has dementia and has given General power of attorney to my mother which we can only find two pages of, front and signature page is not being accepted by the Federal Long Term Care Insurance while trying to open a claim. The FLTC said to get a Healthcare power of attorney but we need my fathers signature for that and not that he is unwilling but he has dementia so would that be legal? I think not. I am trying to get a letter from his Dr stating he has dementia they aren't the brightest bunch at that medical office. So, after I get that letter how do I proceed without my father's signature?See answer
