I hired a contractor to install wood flooring in my home. The signed contract stated a 1 year aesthetic warranty and 5 year structural warranty. One week after install was complete we had both aesthetic and structural issues with our floor. I have been attempting to have the contractor come remedy his for well over a month now. He has not shown up to scheduled appointments and ignored phone calls, email, and text messages. Can I sue for cost to have another company remedy the work?

Yes you can. But, I recommend not moving to that step to hastily. Your rights will first be determined by your contact and additionally by Colo Statute. I recommend that you contact our office at 303-688-0944 to discuss the facts, your rights, options, courses of action, remedies, how we can help, etc. before you hire another contractor then attempt to recover your damages from the original contractor.
