I wanted a Real Estate Attorney to attend an HOA meeting with my regarding land that was being sold by our HOA. They kicked him out prior to the meeting and said he was not allowed to be there. In CCIOA – I read that “homeowner or their designated representative’ can attend the meeting. Does this extend to him?

We have attended many HOA meetings on behalf of our Clients. I do not understand the basis upon which the attorney could be excluded unless the HOA Board went into executive session where no members are allowed.
