Divorce can be scary, particularly if your spouse has shown signs of abusive behavior in the past. In this case, our client reached out to us because she wanted to leave a dangerous relationship with her emotionally abusive husband.

Our Family Law Team was able to help our client implement a no-contact order, get the court's permission to move with the children out of state, and convince the court to issue strict guidelines for her former spouse to stay sober to continue having a relationship with the children. Additionally, the court ordered that our client's ex-husband needed to reimburse our client for family expenses related to the divorce.
