This world can be a dark place if we let it. We have an obligation to actively help each other. Working as an attorney allows me to help others who have found themselves in bad situations.

Robinson & Henry Associate Attorney Kiron Kothari is a thoughtful litigator whose practice involves employment law and civil litigation. Before joining R&H, Kiron investigated alleged federal employment law violations on behalf of Spanish-speaking claimants for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).

“This provides me a skillset where I am able to quickly identify what information we need and how to find it, and the insight as to what the other side is thinking that allows me to stay one step ahead,” said Kiron.

Kiron has represented plaintiffs and defendants in complicated employment litigation matters. While attending the University of Colorado Law School, Kiron became intrigued with the intellectual artistry of turning a complex set of facts and legal rules into a persuasive argument. This deeper understanding of disputes between individuals, businesses, and government entities only strengthened Kiron’s understanding of employer-employee rights and responsibilities.

Kiron honed his skills as an attorney by litigating, negotiating, and developing employment law claims with Livelihood Law, LLC. Kiron’s meticulous, objective approach to evidence-gathering and legal application informs his current law practice with Robinson & Henry.

Perhaps what Kiron appreciates most about his practice area is its universality. Considering how much of our adult lives are spent at work, no matter the career path, everyone is entitled to a workplace that is fair, appropriate, and safe. Still, Kiron anticipates the unique set of circumstances, perspectives, and goals of each case.

“[I]t is very important for me to understand the client’s goal and priorities in a claim,” said Kiron. “It’s also very important for me to be honest with my client about what can and cannot be achieved in the legal process. That way, I can make sure that I am putting my client in the best position possible to achieve that goal.”

Case of Note

Kiron obtained more than $1 million in damages for a client in an unpaid wages claim. In this case, Kiron proved his client’s former employer failed to make good on promised payments, maintain up-to-date records, and submit accurate IRS tax forms.

More About Kiron

Aside from practicing law, Kiron enjoys playing board games, hiking, and traveling.
