Hello,
My name is Anna and my landlords are trying to raise my garage rent in the middle of my lease. From my understanding my garage lease addendum states that it is part of the rest of the lease, which is good through July 14th, 2021. They aren’t giving me straight answers or working with me. I need help to see if what they’re doing is legal or not, and am not sure how to proceed. Thank you for your time!

If you have a lease which included the garage and the lease is valid through July it is unlikely that your Landlord has the right to raise your rent. If you refuse you should be ready to demand a trial if your Landlord attempts to evict you as a result. Good Luck!
