I have a protection order with serious translation and transcription errors from the court, as well as from my part. They gave me the temporary one, but not to my son. He has been gone without reasonable motives for over 3 months, it's combined with a completed divorce case due to domestic violence, financial, verbal, housing, property, physical, etc. My spouse withdrew all or most of the money from the 401k without my signature to buy a house and left me out of the title, sold assets, preparing to leave me with nothing but debts. I have an adult autistic disabled no visible 25 yrs son who is not his, it's my complete responsibility, I am his unpaid caregiver and legal guardian, assistance living, etc.” "Requested in the divorce for him to pay the lawyer fees, but the court never responded only combine the cases .

It sounds like a difficult situation. I would recommend you speak to an attorney so they can pull the entire court file to understand the current status of the case as well as what needs to happen next. A temporary protection order will have a very short period of time before a permanent protection order hearing is held, and if the court did not respond to your request for your ex-spouse to pay the lawyer fees and only combined the cases, you may need to file a motion to specifically address the attorney fees.

It appears you have a lot of complexity in your case, so speaking with a family law attorney about the specifics of your case is your first step. I don't think this is one that will be easy to handle on your own. If you choose to handle it yourself, the court forms are available here.
