Ask our attorneys>Question and answer

I have been sick and have been providing doctors notes and calling in. I brought in a doctor's note last Thursday, gave it to management, they scanned it in to hr and said nothing to me. Normally once we have a doctor's note in especially bringing it in, in person we do not have to call in for our next shift since we brought in a doctor's note. I was then informed that my next schedule shift was marked ncns as well as the following day. When I reach out to my manager inquiring why this was, my privileges for slack ( our internal communication) was removed. Now my only form of communication is with HR. Whom has fabricated lies regarding the doctor's note in question. They are now refusing to communicate with me in any form. I have an ada form pending and short term disability claim pending. I need advice on what to do moving forward and how I move forward. I have become so stressed out that I now have blistering hives, and I have already been in fear of losing my job due to illness from before this last instance which is why I chose to go for my short term disability. Do I have any case? What should I do?
