I was the sole beneficiary of my house until a Purchase agreement was written and signed in November 2020 in order to add my daughter as 50% beneficiary in the signed agreement that buyout payments would begin 2 years from that date I moved out of the house on 12-21-21. I now am 50% beneficiary along with my daughter in an irrevocable trust. They already are trying to back out of the agreement while she lives in the house, and I will receive nothing. Can I force a sale of the house if they breach the contract this December 21, 2023? Thank you for your time, Maureen Tonis

The answer is very fact dependent to the terms of the trust and the actions of the parties. To the extent the trust is irrevocable or a binding contract was executed, you have rights. This definitely requires the input of an attorney to advise you of your rights and options.
