If you have concerns that your ex-spouse may be neglecting your children, it's within your rights to seek a modification of the initial custody order to better address the evolving needs of your children. The court maintains forms you can use here. In instances where you suspect that the children's time with their other parent is placing them at immediate risk of physical or emotional harm, you may petition the court for a restriction on parenting time. It's crucial to understand, however, that before a court can completely revoke a parent's right to contact their children, it must carefully consider alternatives that would be less harmful to the child. It's relatively rare for a court to entirely deny a parent all contact with their child. This process is designed to ensure that the children's best interests are always at the forefront of any decisions made.
