question iconA company I hired to run an estate sale in December 2020 has not provided our inventory of items sold or the money we are owed from the sale (65% of money received). After much trouble getting the owner to respond, they have stated on Google Reviews they are filing for bankruptcy. How can i verify this, and how do I file a claim against the bankruptcy?

You could set up an account on Pacer.gov which would allow you to search their name and pay for and see any pleadings. In order to file a claim you would need to submit a claim form to the bankruptcy court. We offer those types of services at the firm and a case assessment to discuss your matter.
