question iconMy daughter is living in a sorority house and was given a 3 day notice to vacate premises because her sorority membership has been revoked. The lease says she has 7 days. Who can help me? Her 3 days is up tomorrow and she has no place to go so being put out on the streets and was told she will be locked out of the house after tomorrow which is the 3rd day

Your daughter's rights are controlled by the lease agreement. Additionally, the house has no right to change the rules from those stated in the agreement. I recommend contacting an attorney to spend 1/2 hr with you to review the lease and discuss how to prevent your daughter from being wrongfully locked out. Contact us at 303-688-0944 to schedule an assessment, let the staff know that you need to review the lease when scheduling.
