question iconI let some friends stay awhile to help them get back on their feet. They offered to pay me 100 dollars a week to help me out ,but they haven’t paid me ,just some on the light bill 30 dollars or so and I now suspect drug use and no help on the deal we made. They have turned my life upside down and think I owe them something. Inviting unwanted guest after 10 PM while I’m sleeping or even strange people in the house. I own this mobile home, but rent a lot space. I am on the lease . They are not. How do I get them out legally?

Unfortunately this is a common scenario. If you have asked your tenants to leave and they refuse then you must go through the court system to have them evicted. The first step (and most important) is to provide legally sufficient notice. The process could take 30 days, the hardest part will be living with them during the process. If you are unfamiliar with the judicial eviction process I recommend that you consult our eviction team to help you, you don't want to have to live through the process twice. Just call 303-688-0944 or schedule a case evaluation online at robandhen.wpengine.com/locations. At your appointment we'll discuss the process, timeline, how we can help, etc.
