Your Legal Questions Answered

question iconHi, I hired an electrician and paid them in full and they have not completed the job. Is there a recourse to get my money back or anything else I can do? All I have is a signed quote and proof of their work with their company label on it? The quote has a description of the work they were supposed to perform. I can show proof of the transactions as well.

If you have paid for work that has not been performed or performed yet with substandard results you have a right to demand a refund for that work. The first step is to demand the work or the refund. If the contractor refuses or ignores you then you may have to initiate a lawsuit to recover your losses. We help many homeowners recover from bad contractors. To really help you we need to have a more in-depth conversation. I recommend that you schedule a case assessment by calling 303-688-0944 or online at https://calendly.com/case-assessment/case-assessment. At your appointment, we'll meet by phone or video (Zoom), we'll discuss your contract, damages, concerns, desired results, rights, remedies, the law, the process, timeline, how we can help, costs, etc.
