It’s possible, but without more information regarding the divorce and the ruling or settlement there is no way to know. The court may have ruled, or you and your ex-husband may have agreed to a division of the business. Depending on what happened, you may own a percentage of the business, you may be able to go back to court for a modification of the ruling/separation agreement, or you may not have any options at this point. The separation agreement will likely hold the answer to your question.

I would suggest speaking with an attorney, so they can review the separation agreement and discuss your options. You can schedule an assessment online 24/7 by going to or calling us at 303-688-0944. Most assessments are free.
