question iconI am not a lawyer, but it seems pretty clear that the CARES act offers a halt on evictions for ALL people for nonpayment if they live in any unit with a residential lease. Many interpretations of this law seem to imply it only applies to certain federally backed mortgages, but the definition of “Covered Dwelling” does not include any language to suggest that claim.
