My sister had our family dog released from shelter after Judge released him back into our custody – He has been there for more than 3 weeks and was considered aggressive – The judge allowed us to pick him up and my sister initially had the muzzle on which I guess is a requirement, but it came off – she attempted to put in back on and struggled while the officers watched. after less than 5 minutes they disappeared, said they were getting help and came back stating she would need to leave the dog there over the weekend –
I cant help but feel as though there is retaliation of some kind because 5 officers from animal control to testify over our dog who did not even bite anyone there. The DA suggested he be surrendered but since the judge let him back into our custody, what other reason can there be for continuing to hold him?
