Robinson & Henry, P. C., one of Colorado’s premier law firms specializing in high-stakes cases, seeks a current or former journalist passionate about researching and writing long-form pieces to join our in-house marketing team as a Legal Content Writer.

This role is an in-office position at our Castle Rock location.

As an R&H Legal Content Writer, you’ll delve into issues that affect everyday Coloradans, such as:

  • State Supreme Court decision on home insurance claims

  • policy changes that affect small business owners

  • preserving parental rights and family ties

You’ll compose engaging blog posts and long-form articles that leave our potential clients finishing the article instead of scanning it.

Collaborating with members of the Marketing Team, you will help develop content ideas based on trending legal issues and cases, evolving legislation, and client and firm needs. You’ll also work with the firm’s attorneys to transform complex legal issues into engaging stories and content that attract and educate potential clients.

Qualified candidates should submit at least three (3) writing samples or links to writing samples, a resume, and a cover letter. 

Candidates invited to interview will complete a pre-interview writing assignment. 

Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in journalism or English

  • 5+ years relevant experience

  • strong research skills

  • intermediate-level knowledge of traditional and/or headless CMS

  • must live in Colorado
