Matthew Patton is a seasoned trial attorney who oversees one of Robinson & Henry’s Family Law Teams.

Matthew has been in private practice for more than a decade, serving as the primary attorney responsible for key decisions in complex family law litigation and criminal defense trials. Before joining R&H, he was the Director at a respected Castle Rock firm, where he managed a large caseload while mentoring associate attorneys and guiding clients through some of life’s most challenging transitions.

Matthew's background in public service shaped the foundation of his legal career. As a District Attorney for the 18th Judicial District, he prosecuted misdemeanor and felony cases and participated in hundreds of trials and motions hearings. His earlier work as a Division Clerk for Douglas County Court and Deputy Sheriff of the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office gave him unique insight into nearly every aspect of the legal system.

Every case presents a unique set of circumstances, and Matthew is dedicated to helping his clients achieve optimal outcomes in their complicated and sensitive legal matters. He accomplishes this through exceptional presentation and communication skills in pursuit of the best possible outcomes, whether through skilled negotiation, mediation, or aggressive representation in court.
