Call

Alyssa Little, a skilled partner in the firm's Family Law practice, is dedicated to helping clients realize creative, amicable resolutions to their most pressing legal challenges.

She leads with compassion and empathy but remains a pragmatist who refuses to accept an impractical solution to a complex problem. Prioritizing mediation when possible, Alyssa draws on her extensive trial experience to fight for fair outcomes when a resolution can’t be reached outside the courtroom. Her pursuit of legal excellence has earned her a place among the select few recognized by Super Lawyers® and Best Lawyers®.

A legal internship in Dublin, Ireland, served as the foundation for Alyssa’s legal aspirations. She has been practicing family law exclusively since 2014. Before bringing her practice to Colorado, Alyssa clerked in the Criminal Division of the Clackamas County District Attorney’s Office in Oregon. There, she prosecuted misdemeanor criminal cases and represented the state in civil commitment hearings. Alyssa now leverages this background in crisis communication and evidence evaluation to advocate for vulnerable clients facing high-conflict family dynamics.

In her free time, Alyssa enjoys cooking, traveling, watching her guilty-pleasure reality shows, and spending time outdoors with her husband, son, and dog.

Representative Matters:

  • Retained parenting time - Successfully defended an attempt to reduce a client’s 50/50 parenting time, reducing the client’s child support obligation in the process.

  • High-Stakes divorce negotiation - Successfully negotiated a settlement in a long-term marriage through mediation with numerous high-asset business interests.

  • Defended parental standing - Secured a favorable parenting plan and joint decision-making responsibilities in a custody case in defense of an unfavorable expert report on a client.

Mar 12, 2026"If you are going through a divorce in Denver, hire Alyssa Little. Full stop. I came to Alyssa after a deeply damaging experience with a previous firm. I was frustrated, financially depleted, and had lost a significant amount of trust in the legal profession entirely. Alyssa restored it. Here is what she did differently from day one: she told me the truth. Not what I wanted to hear — the truth. She was direct about which fights were worth having and which ones weren’t, and she was right every time. In a process that invites drama at every turn, she brought none. She was steady, prepared, and always focused on what actually mattered. Her billing was fair and transparent. After paying a previous firm (Jones Law Firm $35,000 DO NOT HIRE THEM) to be abandoned at the worst possible moment, I cannot tell you what it meant to work with someone who treated billing as a matter of trust rather than an opportunity. She was gracious about it in a way that is genuinely rare in family law. She inherited a mess — a case complicated by a problematic stipulation, unvalued assets, and a record that needed serious work. On top of that, she faced an opposing counsel who was, frankly, an unethical and relentless adversary. She never took the bait. Not once. She handled all of it without complaint, without drama, and without ever losing her footing. She was also quietly marvelous in the courtroom. We appeared before the judge six times. Our judge visibly appreciated her candor, and her closing argument was outstanding. She was also never once intimidated by a client who did his homework. Alyssa Little is what a family law attorney is supposed to be. Honest, prepared, fair, and genuinely in your corner when it matters. Email her once. Be brief, be clear, and she will get it done."
