About the Role
Robinson & Henry, P.C., one of Colorado's fastest-growing law firms, is seeking an experienced accounting leader to join our team as an Accounting Assistant Director (Director Track). This role is designed for a high-performing accounting professional who is ready to expand their leadership responsibilities and prepare for future Director-level opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Help lead the firm's accounting and financial operations
Supports financial reporting, general ledger integrity, reconciliations, and month-end close
Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, collections, and trust accounting processes
Develop financial reporting, dashboards, and key performance metrics
Strengthen internal controls, compliance, and accounting procedures
Lead process improvement, automation, and systems optimization initiatives
Mentor and develop accounting team members
Partner with executive leadership on financial strategy, operational planning, and organizational growth
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
6+ years of progressive accounting experience
3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
Strong understanding of accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls
Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
Proven ability to lead process improvements and cross-functional initiatives
Professional services, legal industry, and trust accounting experience preferred but not required
