My passion is advocating for justice on behalf of others and helping them navigate through the complex court system so that they can move forward, from the most trying times in their lives, in a positive way.
Robinson & Henry Associate and Family Law Attorney Patrick Jones doesn’t consider his job done once he has helped clients navigate the court system during an often turbulent period of their lives. Patrick also wants to see his clients leave the courtroom with the tools they need to move forward with their lives in a positive way.
While attending the Thomas M. Cooley Law School at Western Michigan University, Patrick worked for the Innocence Project, assisting in drafting legal petitions requesting DNA testing of evidence that would support the factual innocence of his clients. He then began his legal career as a prosecutor in Pueblo County, where he tried many diverse criminal cases including homicides, sexual assaults, and domestic violence.
After more than four years of prosecuting criminal cases, Patrick transitioned to private practice so he could apply his legal and trial skills to help people navigate the complex legal process during the most trying times of their lives. He believes practicing family law is the best way he can serve individuals and families in the community and advocate for justice on their behalf.
Outside the courtroom, Patrick enjoys playing hockey, snowboarding, swimming, and hiking with his wife and children.
