Michael Ruiz

Robinson and Henry Associate Attorney Michael Ruiz has always been fascinated with litigation.

It began during his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin where, in a Constitutional Law class, students routinely argued the merits of different cases. It has led to a career in law as a Real Estate and Civil Litigation lawyer. As Michael advanced through law school and began his career, he came to appreciate the way the system works — and how to make use of it for his clients.

“Previous civil litigation experience has helped me understand how to procedurally advance a case via pleadings, motions, discovery, mediation, and depositions,” Michael says.

Now, whether a case requires artful negotiation, or digging in for a hearing, Michael is ready to deliver results.

“Nobody wants to need an attorney,” Michael says. “But when they do, they will be glad they have me and the Robinson and Henry team.”

Michael began his career as a public defender in Cook County (Chicago), where he tried plenty of cases. Since then he has tried cases in six of the seven counties comprising the Denver metropolitan area. Michael is an honest lawyer who makes sure he and his clients are always on the same page.

Outside of the office, Michael likes golfing, throwing darts, watching movies, and spending time with his wife and two dogs. A Wisconsin native, he is also a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers.
