I really feel alive when I am able to give my clients a meaningful voice as they progress through one of the toughest situations in their lives.
Robinson and Henry Associate Attorney Matthew Beresky is a member of the firm’s Family Law Team. The Air Force veteran chose a path in family law specifically to help people escape abusive relationships.
Matthew did not come to his mission lightly. He prosecuted numerous domestic violence cases as a district attorney in El Paso and Teller Counties. Matthew also has advocated for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking as a member of the Colorado Springs non-profit group TESSA.
“I really feel alive when I am able to give my clients a meaningful voice as they progress through one of the toughest situations of their lives,” Matthew says.
Matthew, who has an extensive background working with and getting results for survivors of domestic abuse and other crimes, previously worked for the Rocky Mountain Victim Law Center. There he tirelessly fought to protect the privacy rights of crime survivors.
Matthew’s sharp mind and sense of justice were bonded by the Air Force’s core values of integrity and service before self. Family law allows him to continue to serve his community.
When Matthew isn’t meeting a client or preparing a case, he likes to spend time with his wife, Karen, and their Burnese mountain dog, Sarge.
