Krista Tushar
Partner - Civil Litigation & ProbateCall: 303-338-2365
Litigation can be overwhelming and stressful for the client. I work to provide the best representation possible during the entire process to achieve a successful outcome for the client and help reduce their stress.
Krista Tushar’s love for being inside a courtroom essentially began right out of law school. During her first day on the job as an Assistant Public Defender in Nebraska, Krista was sent to court to handle a full day of hearings. That was almost 30 years ago, and, as the saying goes, the rest is history. Krista spent several years in that role gaining valuable courtroom and negotiation experience before switching to civil litigation.
Today, Krista is a Partner on Robinson & Henry’s Civil Litigation Team. She is one of the most seasoned attorneys on the team with nearly 25 years in this practice area. Over the years, Krista has handled a wide array of cases involving very different clients. These experiences have taught her to think outside the box for creative solutions to resolve her clients’ issues.
A compassionate and attentive attorney, clients will discover that Krista truly cares about their matter. Her objective is to obtain their goals. At the same time, however, she sets expectations from the outset by ensuring clients understand the legal process and how it applies to their unique case.
During her career, Krista has helped individuals, small business owners, and Fortune 500 companies resolve various issues, including:
-
- HOA actions
- residential and commercial lease disputes and evictions
- premises liability defense
- construction defect disputes
- mechanic’s lien perfection
- contract disputes
- class-action wage disputes (small businesses)
- employment and partnership disputes
- securities industry termination (employees)
- FINRA disputes with employers
Krista has also worked with major automobile dealers to resolve contract disputes, settle employee matters, terminate dealerships, and interpret regulations and enforcement. She has also assisted dealers with collections.
Additionally, Krista has experience in the oil and gas industry. She has represented drilling companies, geologists, producers, and royalty owners in disputes involving interpretation of oil and gas assignments, participation agreements, purchase and sale agreements, joint operating agreements, partnership, and employment agreements.
