Family law attorney Kellsey Hansen has always had a passion for lifting up others. Having studied child psychology and criminology during her undergraduate work at the University of Wyoming, she knew going into law school that family law would be a challenging practice area. But Kellsey wanted to work on child maltreatment cases and help victims of abuse find hope again.
While Kellsey changed course for a bit in law school to study property disputes, she remained devoted to helping families. In fact, she received the Baylor Pro Bono and Public Service Award for her work with children in foster care while attending Baylor University School of Law.
Today, Kellsey helps clients who are facing some of the worst times in their lives find their voice. She is a staunch advocate for her clients, and she prides herself on being transparent with them about their case. Her clients can expect to be updated often about their matter’s progress.
Kellsey credits her work ethic and success to her family who encouraged her to set and accomplish her goals. When she has free time, she enjoys being outside, mostly hiking and camping. Kellsey also likes to travel so she can experience different cultures.
