I like the clients. I think it's a matter of listening to them. As long as they can tell me everything that is wrong, it becomes easier for me to answer their questions.

James W. McQuade brings an immense amount of knowledge and experience to Robinson & Henry’s estate planning practice in which he is a lead attorney. James’ areas of focus are probate litigation, estate planning, probate administration, and guardianships and conservatorships.
In addition to his Juris Doctor, James also holds a Master of Laws in estate, gift, and transfer tax. A Master of Laws, or LL. M., is a secondary degree for attorneys who wish to advance their education within a particular field of study.
During the past 15 years, James has practiced in a variety of areas of law. He has handled real estate matters, landlord-tenant disputes, commercial litigation, and criminal defense cases. During the 2008 financial crisis, James defended clients against foreclosure action to help them remain in their homes.
Through the years, though, James’ primary focus has been on estate planning and probate issues. He is an accomplished litigator with significant courtroom experience, including bench and jury trials. James’ approach to a case is to protect his client and move the case forward to a resolution.
When James is not practicing law he enjoys skiing, playing tennis, and spending time with his family.
