I love being an advocate for my clients. Whatever the circumstance, I want my clients to know that I am in their corner—that they can trust me to provide competent counsel and zealously represent their interests.
Upon obtaining his undergraduate degree in social and cultural analysis from NYU, Jackson Wimberly went to work assisting people with consumer rights cases at various Legal Aid offices and government agencies. He helped people who faced bankruptcy, consumer debt, foreclosure, and other housing issues. While the work was fulfilling and positively affected his clients’ lives, Jackson realized that he needed a law degree if he wanted to take his work a step further.
“During that time, I saw what kind of difference a good lawyer can make. When traditional ways of settling disputes aren’t enough, a smart lawyer can use their expertise to obtain results for their clients that wouldn’t otherwise be possible,” Jackson said.
Jackson remained in direct services work after he received his Juris Doctor from The University of Chicago Law School. As a public defender and civil legal aid attorney, he has handled hundreds, if not thousands, of cases.
As a member of Robinson & Henry’s Civil Litigation Team, Jackson is well-positioned to successfully advocate on behalf of his clients who face a number of real estate litigation matters. From helping clients get their money back from a negligent contractor to resolving property ownership disputes, Jackson is poised to put a strategic plan in place that will result in the best possible outcome.
“I know how incredibly disruptive it can be when there’s something wrong with the place where you live,” Jackson said. “I want my clients to be able to rely on me to get through this difficult period of their life.”
Clients can expect honest and competent representation from Jackson. After assessing a client’s unique circumstances, he’ll present them with a candid assessment of their legal options, detailing the potential benefits and risks. His primary focus is to represent his client’s best interests while paying particular attention to their specific priorities and needs.
Additionally, clients will find that Jackson is approachable, friendly, and non-judgmental. And LGBTQIA+ individuals can rest assured they’ll be working with a culturally competent professional.
Originally from Austin, Texas, Jackson now calls Colorado home, though he remains close with his family. In his downtime, Jackson likes to spend time with his nine-year-old pug, Waffles. He also enjoys playing tabletop roleplaying games like Dungeons & Dragons and looks forward to a weekly D&D game with several friends.
