I approach each client first and foremost with compassion.

Senior Associate Attorney Gabriela Stear brings a wealth of knowledge and a great sense of comfort in the courtroom to Robinson & Henry’s Family Law Team.

Gabriela was inspired to attend law school after earning her bachelor’s degree in justice and public affairs from American University in Washington, D.C. She went on to obtain her juris doctorate at the University of Miami School of Law. While there, Gabriela interned with the school’s Children and Youth Law Clinic, which opened her eyes to the “people” aspect of law.

After graduation, Gabriela went to work at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office in 2002. Her husband’s military career soon took the couple to Pensacola, Florida, where Gabriela joined the district attorney’s office.

In 2006, the couple landed in Denver, presenting Gabriela with the opportunity to work at the Denver District Attorney’s office. Her time as a DA set her on a path to working as a guardian ad litem in Arapahoe County, where she represented children in dependency and neglect cases and advocated for adults and children in domestic relations and guardianship cases.

Since moving to Colorado, Gabriela has tried cases in Denver, Arapahoe, Jefferson, and Douglas counties. Her clients can count on her diligence and great attention to detail. More than that, however, they will always be met with compassion.

“When clients need an attorney, the circumstance tends to be quite emotional and draining,” Gabriela said. “I want to reassure my clients that I am there to advocate for their goals, and if their goals are not attainable, to provide them with the information and understanding of what other options they have.”

Born and raised in Argentina, Gabriela is fluent in Spanish and takes a special pride in representing Spanish speakers. She is happy to help ease any discomfort while working through a legal process that is not in a client’s native language.

When not at work, Gabriela enjoys time with her husband, their three children, and their two dogs.
