This question probably requires some clarification in that you must respond but you don’t necessarily need or even want to file a formal “Response” to the motion. You will want to review the issues in question, including the accusations and remedies requested and make a decision as to whether a response will help you or not. Contempt actions are difficult to prove but complicated no matter whether you are the filing party or the accused. Your question just requires more information to resolve.
