Kayla is a real estate and civil litigation attorney at Robinson & Henry. Since joining Robinson & Henry as an attorney, Kayla has handled cases from a wide variety of area, including, but not limited to: landlord/tenant disputes, unlawful detainer actions, mechanics liens, builder disputes, neighbor disputes, for sale/buy owner transactions, real estate broker disputes and real estate broker defense.
While she attended law school at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, Kayla gained significant practical experience as an intern with the El Paso County Attorney’s office in Colorado Springs. Through this internship, she gained valuable experience researching legal topics and developed an understanding of how local government agencies function.
Shortly after that experience, Kayla began interning at Robinson & Henry, P.C. Here, Kayla obtained valuable, first-hand experience in a wide-variety of legal issues, such as landlord-tenant issues, contact disputes, HOA disputes, business formation, business disputes, land use issues, evictions, construction disputes, collections and real estate transaction disputes.
Prior to attending law school, Kayla obtained her Bachelor of Arts in English with an emphasis in Rhetoric and Writing from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.
In her free time, Kayla enjoys running, hiking and spending time with her family.
