Symptoms of vision problems

This one is for vision problems, and these are real real things that my clients have struggled with. They include trouble judging distances, and then, things like the following, “Do you experience eye strain or headaches after reading for a short period of time?”

People rarely read books, but what we’re looking for is people saying, “I can’t look at my computer for more than half an hour,” “I can’t read my email,” “I can’t look at my phone for more than half an hour,” or, “I get a headache after I do.” Those could be symptoms of a concussion.

This is another one, “Do you hit your elbows, knees, hands, feet on objects when walking?” We kind of joke about this like, “Oh, that desk came out of nowhere. The doorway came out of nowhere and moved as I was trying to go.” But again, it’s your perception. Your perception is off.

So you may have been able to navigate your office prior to the car crash, but now, after the car crash, you keep hitting your hip on the corner of the desk. So that could be a sign of a concussion.
