We did not pay our annual HOA assessment on time. We never received a letter advising of this. Approximately 3 months after that we received a statement of lien against our property. Doesn’t House Bill 13-1276 call for the HOA board to contact the owner and advise them that they have an overdue assessment and then offer them an opportunity to pay the assessment in equal installments over a 6 month period of time?
