Car crashes increase by 10% over the holiday weekend. And crashes involving drunk drivers also increase by 10%. And those crashes are more likely to cause severe injuries or death. Please be careful out there.

How to prevent car crashes

For starters, don’t drink and drive. Keep plenty of distance between you and the car in front of you. Don’t drive in someone’s blindspot even if their indicator is on because you know they’re going to change lanes anyway.

If you’re in a crash

If you are in a crash and you can safely move your vehicle off the roadway, please do so. If that’s not possible, stay inside your vehicle. You’d be surprised at how many drivers actually crash into existing crash scenes causing horrific injuries and death.

The injury claims process can get complicated really quickly. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me. I am here to help you and explain the process.
